This past weekend Dee was at another fun reception place- Bella Sera in Canonsburg, not the normal banquet hall by any means. copied from their web site: "A beautiful Italian Villa that can accommodate up to 400 people. the venue features a grand entrance, central staircase, a 22 foot high fireplace, a display wine cellar, a pond, an outdoor space for an open air pavilion and lots of decorative wrought iron and Italian touches. "
And let me tell you, it was unexpected, I was blown away by the decor. Just beautiful! I literally spent the longest time studying the warm, old world paint work on the walls saying to myself "Wow, that looks really cool" ... There were even clouds painted on the ceiling in the entryway. I was blown away! They even had specialty lighting that cast a warm glow on the walls & the bride and grooms initials.

Even when you pull into the parking lot, you know something great is inside. I just couldn't believe how charming and rustic that big building was. They really made you feel like you were in another country. I was even impressed by the little sitting area they had in front of the fireplace in the main dining room. How wonderful that would be for guests to enjoy that.

When I met with Stacy back in May and we discussed the flowers, she expressed her love of rich colors and texture and grapes, I didn't quite see the 'big picture' until I stepped into this magical place. And wow!, the flowers looked amazing in that room. I loved the way the deep rich oranges and burgundy paired up with the cool green grapes and green hydrangea. Sometimes you really must have the light green or cream neutrals to have the dark intense colors really 'pop'.
Her bridesmaids bouquets were just stunning. I think I had every fall flower stuffed into the bouquets, (ok, not literally) but they were so full of intrest and texture. Everyone who was working with me this weekend, just couldnt stop looking at them. (photos for you to view coming soon)
Even the Church that the ceremony was held at was such a special place,St Louise De Marillac in Upper St Clair is just architecturally beautiful inside with the stained glass, rich wood and stone work. I was awed by all of the beauty of the day, such a fun job I have! I'm honored to be such a special part of it. I really had a fun time working on this special event for Stacy & Kevin and families.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to the Happy Couple!!
