This past weekend, Dee's Floral was doing a wonderful wedding event at The George Washington Hotel in Washington Pa. What an awesome elegant place! It was the first time I've ever been there and walking in the doors was like taking a step back in time. The architecture in the ballroom was stunning.

They say on the web site that it was built in 1923 and Kennedy and Truman stayed there. I just love old buildings! They have such great character and such a warm feeling of history that reminds you of all of the wonderful events that had happened there over the years. And to have a wedding there adds so much of that warm feeling of history and elegance to your own special day. So if you are looking for a unique and beautiful place to have your wedding, check this place out!

Our Beautiful bride Amy and handsome groom Noah had their ceremony downstairs in the elegant and spacious Washington room and then headed up the beautiful staircase to the Grand Ballroom which was amazing to see. It says on the web site that it is the oldest and largest in Western Pennsylvania. The food smelled delicious and the wait staff that I worked with were all helpful, pleasant, with dedication to every tiny detail. I'm sure all of the guests had a fabulous and beautiful time!

The George Washington Hotel is but a perfect place for the solemn ceremonies like weddings. Occasions such as these when taken place at this hotel are very memorable. The hotel offers a very good ambiance depending on the motif of the marriage and on the mood of the persons involved. It gives freebies to the delegates as well.
