From time to time, I design things or travel to different venues that really enjoy. I've always wanted to have a place where I could write to let my clients know what I've been up to.

Its funny though that I start this part of the forum on this particular weekend, because I have nothing to say! HA HA! Dee's Florals is basically closed for the week to free me up to go on the Annual Community Girl Scout Weekend Camping Trip! I've had this weekend scheduled off for nearly a year, I'm the leader of the troop, so Its sort of important that I be there!

Back to business as usual for next week.

I am enjoying this warmer weather though. I have a few annuals already planted in the garden & purchased a few more special plants to put in. One of them being a snowball Virbirumn, the blossoms start out in the most bright vibrant shade of green and then to snowball white. Either color adds wonderfulness to any spring arrangement or bouquet.

Hello Dees Floral Fans! Just to let you know, it was such a busy month of June, especially this past weekend with the fantastic Pietropaolo and DiRenzo Wedding Event!

I have been the 'Official Floral Designer' for many of the DiRenzo family members over the years and it was so wonderful seeing all of these special people that I have done work for.

Daniela looked like a princess on her special day! The whole day took my breath away. The huge bridal party of 13 girls, 3 flower girls, 13 groomsmen and 3 ringbearers!!, looked sharp as ever. The girls wore chocolate brown with a lush champagne sash at the waist and the guys had the champagne ivory ties and vests. The girls had beautiful handtied bouquets of multi colored roses of pale yellow, pink, champagne, soft orange and peach with a hint of tiny hot pink roses combined with yellow calla lilies, pink cymbidium orchids and bright green hypericum berries. As I was making them, I noticed that every flower and color worked so well together. It was bright and eye catching, but not too overpowerful at all.

Daniela and Joes cake was incredible. It was 4 tiers high, on pillars and the detail work was just beautiful. Mocha brown icing with dark chocolate details. The icing flowers at the top were the best I've ever seen. I'm not sure who made the cake, (my guess is Bethel Bakery) but I got to taste a leftover piece at the end of the night and it was a bite of heaven! I even loved how the cake was intergraded directly into the front and center of the 2 tiered, staged Huge bridal table in the Grand Ball Room of the Sheraton at Station Square. A cake that amazing deserves front and center, right along with the special couple!
Best Wishes to Daniela and Joe!

Hope everyone had a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

I was busy this week working through the fireworks. There was a wonderful 89th birthday party event that I worked on flowers for. It was a Roaring 20's theme with classic red roses and white Oriental lilies on black linens. Very sharp! The guests even dressed in Roaring 20's Style & Glam! "Happy Birthday!"

We also had flowers at the 'Palmer & Localities' wedding at the Cranberry Marriott. The room looked stunning. I must say of all the places I work on receptions and parties at, the Cranberry Marriott is an A+. The banquet managers are friendly and helpful and the staff has every detail perfect! The place is impeccably clean and spotless too! (I get to see behind the scenes and places that most do not have access to!) and that speaks volumes.
